a D&D London restaurant

Originally founded in Havana in the early 20th century, El Floridita was a place where history was made. Today it is Cuba's most famous and internationally renowned cocktail bar. Under the supervision of the legendary bartender Constante Ribalaigua, El Floridita became renowned in the early 1900s as Havana's “cathedral of cocktails”. It was at El Floridita that Constante, inspired by his fascinating guests, created cocktails to suit their moods. His encounter with the charismatic Ernest Hemingway created the very first daiquiri…

This legacy is continued today at Floridita London. Bar Constante, our private member's area, features a spectacular 1930s-style steel cocktail cabinet that pays homage to the original creations of Constante, whilst the inspiration and creativity of one of London's most respected and experienced mixologists, results in the Floridita's drinks menu being an experience in itself. Designed by Richard Woods, the menu features traditional cocktails from the early 1930s, as well as more contemporary creations including the pineapple and sage mojito.

The Floridita bar also boasts the most extensive selection of rums in Europe, leading to the creation of the monthly Rare Rum Club. Aiming to be both informative and entertaining, the club is designed to keep its members in the know, with useful information provided from those 'in the know'. Open to both those in the trade and rum enthusiasts who want to expand their knowledge, if you are interested in hearing more then please email Hannah Sakellariou at hannahs@danddlondon.com

The bar is open from 5.30pm - 3am making it the perfect location to begin or end your evening in London's West End.
